Booklet 2015 - Results and lessons learnt from PURE – Grapevine

The aim of "Grapevine cropping system" activity was to develop innovative integrated pest management (IPM) methods for grapevine and to stimulate the uptake of these methods into practice.

More specifically, the objectives were:

1. To produce IPM solutions that address the most critical pest problems in European grapevine systems

2. To test candidate IPM solutions in on-station and on-farm experiments

Booklet 2015 - Results and lessons learnt from PURE – Pomefruit

Objective of Pomefruit cropping system activity is to develop innovative integrated pest management (IPM) methods for pome fruit and to stimulate the uptake of these methods into practice. More specific, the objectives are:

Booklet 2015 - Results and lessons learnt from PURE – Field vegetables – Cabbages

Three booklets are available:

First, approaches to control weeds with intelligent and non-intelligent mechanical methods are depicted.

Furthermore approaches to control cabbage root fly and the control of aphids and caterpillars based on control thresholds are described.

Booklet 2015 - Results and lessons learnt from PURE – Maize based rotation

The general objective of WP3 was to identify, test and validate innovative IPM solutions for maize based cropping systems for the most important European maize producing areas. This was achieved by :

  • Identifying candidate IPM solutions and testing them in on-station and on-farm experiments,
  • Evaluating the sustainability of tested IPM solutions.

Booklet 2015 - Results and lessons learnt from PURE – Wheat based rotation

The objective of winter wheat - based cropping system activity was to test and validate innovative IPM solutions for important pests of winter wheat in winter wheat based rotations in Northern Europe where winter wheat is the most widely cultivated annual crop.

The PURE 2015 Booklet : Results and lessons learnt from PURE

This booklet shows the complete results from the Cropping systems activities.

It is the complete of the 6 activities booklets.

Booklet 2014 - Pest evolution and enhancement of the durability of IPM solution

One of the objectives of PURE is to exploit recent advances in pest evolution to feed IPM solutions with improved durability of control methods.

This booklet describes first results from this activity, first uses into Cropping systems and the next steps.

Booklet 2014 - Plant-Pest-Enemies interactions

One of the objectives of PURE is to exploit recent advances in plant-pest-enemies interactions to feed IPM solutions with bio-products.

This booklet describes first results from this activity, first uses into Cropping systems and the next steps.

Booklet 2014 - Ecological engineering for IPM : from field to landscape

One of the objectives of PURE is to exploit recent advances in soil and landscape ecology to feed IPM solutions with strategies for ecological pest regulation.

This booklet describes first results from this activity, first uses into Cropping systems and the next steps.
